ADOPT-A-FAMILY

Make the holidays a positive experience for families receiving services from Our House by fulfilling their holiday wish lists! Check out our Adopt-A-Family FAQ to learn more!

 

Group Size: All sizes welcome!
Budget: $150 per individual family member (e.g. $300 for a family of 2). Larger companies and organizations are welcome to adopt multiple families!

 

Families’ wish lists will be available the first week of November, and all gifts must be returned to Our House by December 7th. Donors will need to drop off their gifts at Our House during our designated drop off times below. Please refer to our drop-off instructions for more information.

 

Sunday, December 7th  •  1 to 5 pm
Monday, December 8th  •  8am to 5pm 
Tuesday, December 9th  •  8am to 5pm

HOLIDAY EXPRESS

Host a drive to help us meet the year-round needs of our programs including gift cards, clothes, cleaning supplies and more! You can purchase directly from our Amazon wish lists or collect items to drop off!

 

Group Size: Best for groups of 10+
Budget:  As little as $5 per group participant

VOLUNTEER TO SPREAD CHEER!

Do you have a group that wants to get involved with a volunteer project? We want to work with you! Decorate one of our living areas, throw a cookie decorating party in the Shelter or a holiday craft night in the Children’s Center… the possibilities are endless!

PROVIDE A MEAL

Provide a warm meal this holiday season! Meal providers plan, purchase, prepare, and serve meals to our Shelter residents. We have serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner so there are options for all schedules! Providers may also drop off their meal without serving if desired.

Group Size: Perfect for groups of 5-10!
Budget:  Meal providers can expect to spend around $300 for a meal

Recognize a milestone or someone special by making a monetary gift! Your donation will provide valuable support to Our House programs, and we’ll mail a special holiday card with your message to the recipient! Make a donation here and include the information in the Honors & Memorials section.
