Perry enrolled in our out-of-school time program, Our Club, when he was just a fourth grader, moving through the program during his most formative years until graduating this May! Perry was a member of Music Club and loved playing basketball with his friends after school, but what really stands out to him now is his experience with Our Club’s youth leadership program. Through the leadership program, Perry and other students were able to represent Our Club at different events and field trips in the area and develop their leadership skills. “Our Club is a place where people can come together no matter their background,” Perry says. “You worked together and could create a symphony.” Perry is now working while he studies for the ACT and plans to apply to colleges to study mass communications. Perry was a true role model during his time in Our Club, and he plans to keep making his voice heard!
