Our House is honored to invite you to our 21st annual Dinner on the Grounds, chaired by Liza & Ray Nolan and Frances & David Mitchell. For more than two decades, this special evening has brought our community together to enjoy local cuisine, live music, and meaningful connection while supporting clients at Our House who are working hard to exit homelessness.

Your investment in Dinner on the Grounds ensures adults, children, and families facing homelessness have not only a safe place to stay, but the tools and stability needed to build lasting independence. We look forward to gathering on the beautiful grounds of Rusty Tractor Vineyards for an evening of elevated fun filled with local treats, refreshing libations, and time to connect with others who care deeply about our community.

Sponsorship commitments received by April 10, 2026 are guaranteed recognition on event materials.

Meet the Chairs

We are thrilled to announce that Frances and David Mitchell will serve as Chairs for this year’s Dinner on the Grounds.

For more than a decade, Frances and David have been devoted supporters of Our House, generously giving their time and leadership to provide meals in the Shelter, serve on event committees, and champion signature events like Home for the Holidays and Dinner on the Grounds. Their commitment to service is a true family affair — their daughters, Susan Grace (12) and Elizabeth (9), regularly join them in serving meals to housing residents in the Our House kitchen.

Both Little Rock natives, Frances and David’s heart for service and deep commitment to strengthening our community giving back to a handful of nonprofits from Our House, Arkansas Children’s, ACCESS, and more.  David S. Mitchell Jr. is the Managing Member of Rose Law Firm, where he leads one of Arkansas’s oldest and most respected law firms and Frances is a substitute teacher at St. Mark’s Day School.

We are thrilled to announce that Liza and Ray Nolan will serve as Chairs for this year’s Dinner on the Grounds.

With a deep commitment to strengthening the communities they call home, Liza and Ray have been ardent champions of Our House. Ray has volunteered at the Our House Career Center, and together they have generously supported both Dinner on the Grounds and Home for the Holidays. Their belief is grounded in the Our House mission,
that with hard work, opportunity, and support, families can achieve lasting stability and independence.

Liza and Ray moved from El Dorado to Little Rock in 2014. The couple has deep ties to the state, and they bring both passion and perspective to their community involvement. Ray is the Founder and Principal of NorthDoor Development and has served on the boards of the SHARE Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club. Liza and Ray are the proud parents of three daughters, Grace, Ela, and Phoebe, who inspire them to give back, lead with purpose, and help build a stronger future for families across Arkansas.

What is spring chic?

Spring chic dress code blends elevated comfort with seasonal freshness—soft pastels, romantic florals, and lightweight fabrics. Women might opt for midi-length floral dresses, a flowy maxi dress or skirt, paired with wedges, heels, or dressy flats. Men can lean into lighter suits or blazers, crisp shirts, fun colors, optional ties, and dress shoes or loafers.
