Cynthia Walton Frazier
Cynthia Walton Frazier was born in Little Rock and attended Pulaski Academy for 9 years before graduating from Little Rock Central High in 1986. She then attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and graduated with a B.A. in Politics in 1990. Following graduation from W&L, Cynthia worked in politics in Washington, D.C. for 2 years before attending the Bowen Law School in Little Rock. She graduated with a juris doctorate degree in 1995 and worked for Williams & Anderson and then clerked for the Honorable Judge William R. Wilson. Cynthia is married to Dr. G. Thomas Frazier, a hand surgeon at UAMS, and together they have 6 children. In 2013, Cynthia and Tom began fostering a set of twins whose biological mother lived at Our House for 2 years. The twins lived with the Fraziers for 5 years and attended Little Learners for 4 of those years. Cynthia was on campus twice daily during that time period and became very familiar with Our House and its facilities, particularly the children’s programs and the Family House.
Bryce Good
Bryce is an Arkansas native, being born and raised in Little Rock and a graduate of Central High School 2000 class. He moved to Springfield, MO to attend Drury University where he graduated and started the beginning of his career in Missouri working as a CPA for Elliott, Robinson & Co. In 2008, he moved back to Little Rock to work for Hudson Cisne CPA, where he stayed until 2013 when he became the COO/CFO for Dale Capital Partners.. Bryce’s background is mainly tax, but he has a mindset for all things finance having studied and passed the CFP exam in 2021 to round out his skillset.
T.J. Boyle
TJ Boyle is a partner and CPA at Frost, PLLC, where he specializes in working with for profit businesses with specialized focus on family owned and food and agriculture corporations. T.J. also heads the audit department for Frost. He has previously served on the boards of directors of the AR Society of CPAs and the day school at Chenal Valley Church of Christ. T.J. grew up in Texas and earned his B.B.A. from Harding University in Searcy. He and his wife Cindy, who is also a CPA and a partner at BKD, have been big supporters of Our House for many years, especially through their support for Home for the Holidays.
Chris Cerrato
Chris Cerrato is the president and owner of Evo Business Environments and has been in the commercial interior products industry for over 27 years. Chris is a member and past board member of Executive Networking Organization and member of Vistage CEO Advisory Group. He is also a member of Fellowship Bible Church WLR and leads a weekly discipleship group at his home. Evo, Chris and his wife Debbie annually support the following charities and organizations: Our House, Jericho Way, Immerse, Second Chance Ranch, Settled Souls, The Van, AR Food Bank, Thea Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Rep, Oxford American, LR Cornbread Festival, Fellowship Bible Church, Pine Crest Camp and various Christian overseas missionaries. Chris and Debbie have been married for 36 years and have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren that live in Little Rock.
Dr. Rick Smith
Dr. Smith devoted his 40-year career in academic medicine to UAMS and our state, with many leadership roles in psychiatry and public health. In 2001, he became the Marie Wilson Howells Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, where he would serve until his appointment as Dean of the College of Medicine and Executive Vice Chancellor of UAMS in 2013-2015. Rick returned to the Department of Psychiatry in 2015 and was appointed to his former posts as Chair and Director of PRI in 2018, which he held until his retirement in 2021. He developed several acclaimed research programs, and his vision for integrating psychiatric care, education and research in one stellar facility later drove his effort to build the
highly regarded Psychiatric Research Institute.

Millie Ward
Jamie Barker
Jamie was born and raised in Smackover, Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University where he met his wife, Allie, and was a member of the golf team. Jamie has worked in politics in Arkansas his entire career for candidates and officeholders like Senator Tom Cotton, Governor Asa Hutchinson, and Governor Mike Huckabee. He currently serves as the Director of Legislative Affairs for Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Jamie and his wife live in Little Rock with their four children Luke, Tucker, Tripp, and Emma.
Barry Block
A Houston native, Rabbi Block received his undergraduate education at Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he graduated magna cum laude and phi beta kappa. He was ordained in 1991 at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, from which he received an honorary doctorate in 2016. Currently he serves as the Rabbi for Temple B’nai Israel and has served Reform Judaism nationally and regionally as a member of the Board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and Chair of its Resolutions and Nominating Committees, and as President of the Southwest Association of Reform Rabbis. He is Dean of the faculty at Union for Reform Judaism’s Henry S. Jacobs Camp, a role he held for 21 years at the Union’s Greene Family Camp in Texas. He is a member of the President’s Rabbinic Alumni Council of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Block is the editor of The Mussar Torah Commentary, published by the CCAR Press in 2020. His writing appears in chapters and articles in several CCAR Press anthologies and other publications. He blogs at the CCAR’s Ravblog. A former board member of Just Communities of Arkansas, Rabbi Block is Past Board Chair of Planned Parenthood of South Texas. In 2013, he completed long service to Methodist Healthcare Ministries, the largest non-governmental provider of indigent health care in south Texas, and Methodist Healthcare System, the largest hospital group and second largest private employer in San Antonio. His service there included several terms as Chair of the Healthcare System’s Ethics and Compliance Committee. In 2012, Human Rights Campaign bestowed its Equality Award upon Rabbi Block at its annual gala in San Antonio. Rabbi Block is the proud father of Robert and Daniel.
Cara Connors
Cara Boyd Connors was born and raised in Memphis, TN, and began her college career at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas in 2002, where she majored in Politics and minored in Africana Studies. Cara entered law school at the Williams H. Bowen School of Law at UALR and thereafter became licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Arkansas. Cara started her legal career as a hearing examiner for the Arkansas Appeals Tribunal, then subsequently began as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Pulaski County, Arkansas where she tried many jury trials from petty theft to violent crimes. She then moved to the Arkansas Parole Board as a revocation hearing judge in 2013, allowing her to become fluent in the Arkansas parole system. From 2016 until 2022, Cara worked in private practice primarily as a criminal defense attorney litigating cases in state and federal courts all over Arkansas. In addition to her criminal practice, Cara handled a wide range of domestic relations and personal injury matters. Cara previously served as appointed Commissioners on the Pulaski County Land and Planning Commission and the Little Rock Civil Service Commission. She also currently serves in various capacities in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Girl Scouts of America, Jack and Jill of America, and W. Harold Flowers Law Society. Connors has supported Our House on several occasions by lending her legal expertise to assist our clients in need. Cara was elected in May of 2022 as a circuit court judge in Pulaski County and took the bench on January 1, 2023. Cara is married to Gary Connors, Jr. and they share two daughters, Gerran and Gia, as well as their frenchies, Journey and Enzo.
Marcy Doderer
Marcy Doderer, FACHE, is a Little Rock native and graduate of Central High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University, and her Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Iowa. Marcy moved back to Little Rock in 2013 to become the President and CEO of Arkansas Children’s, where she leads the state’s only pediatric health system, serving the children in Arkansas and beyond. In her ten-plus years leading Arkansas Children’s, Marcy has significantly extended the health system’s reach through an expanded physical footprint to better serve the children and families of Arkansas, most notably through the building of Arkansas Children’s Northwest, Arkansas Children’s Hospital Southwest Little Rock Clinic, Arkansas Children’s Hospital Pine Bluff Clinic, and the expansion of Arkansas Children’s Hospital Jonesboro Clinic. In 2023, under her leadership, Arkansas Children’s announced the largest expansion in history and broke ground in 2024 at both hospital campuses. Marcy is active nationally with Children’s Hospital Association and Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety. Locally, Marcy serves on the boards of the Arkansas Chapter of IWF and Encore Bank. Marcy has contributed as an active supporter and worked to help bring a clinic to the Our House campus to serve its children and families, reflecting her understanding and support of Our House’s two-generation, holistic approach to helping families overcome homelessness. Marcy enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Mark, and their two dogs Mojo and Margo.
Denise Ennett
Rep. Denise Jones Ennett is serving her third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. She represents District 80 which includes a portion of Little Rock and Pulaski County. For the 94th General Assembly, Rep. Ennett serves on the House Public Transportation Committee, the House Insurance and Commerce Committee, and the House Advanced Communications and Information Technology Committee, and is newly appointed to the Autism Taskforce, by the Speaker of House. Rep. Ennett earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Arts in Higher Education/College Affairs from UA-Little Rock. Rep. Ennett serves on the Board of Directors for Terry House Inc, and the Tiger Foundation. She previously served on the board for the Arkansas Disability Coalition, the Advisory Council for the Education of Children with Disabilities, Volunteers in Public Schools, and Friends of KLRE/KUAR, and President of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. In addition, she has also served on the Mosaic Templars Advisory Board, the City of Little Rock Arts and Culture Commission, the Little Rock Citizen’s Evaluation of New Tax Committee, is a previous member of AmeriCorps VISTA, the American Association of University Women, and League of Women Voters-Pulaski County, and Preserve Arkansas board member.
Rep. Ennett has served as a Parent Mentor for The Center for Exceptional Families, a PTA officer at Carver Magnet Elementary and as an Arkansas PTA Health and Safety Officer. She is married to a retired Air Force Veteran, Cecil. Cecil and Denise are raising their set of twins Camille and Cameron and singleton Dax in the Pettaway neighborhood located in downtown Little Rock.
John Mark Goings
John Mark is an Arkansas native from Cabot, Arkansas. Growing up watching his dad build a family business selling insurance led him down the same path. John Mark is the owner and agent of an Allstate Insurance branch. Since graduating college, John Mark quickly became involved in giving back to the community by volunteering. A past Board President of Camp Aldersgate where he was part of the executive committee integral in the success of the expansion of their budget that they now operate today. John Mark serves at the Pleasant Valley Country Club Board President where he is leading the charge in their new capital expansion. In his free time you will find John Mark playing golf, attending as many Razorback games as possible, or hunting. John Mark and his wife, Kaylei, live in Little Rock with their 3 year old daughter, Blakelynn.
David Gutierrez
David Gutierrez is a financial advisor with The Gutierrez Group team at UBS Financial Services. David grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Little Rock Central High School, and he received a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. The primary focus of David and his team at UBS is helping clients make wise financial decisions, so Our House’s mission is near and dear to him. David and his wife, Callie, have a very active three-year-old daughter, Eva, and their family attends St. Andrews Church. In the community they are most heavily involved with Our House and ACCESS, and with Our House they have served on the Tie One On and Home for the Holidays committees the past several years.
Shannon Heard
Shannon Heard currently serves as the Associate Director of Executive Education at the University of Arkansas-Walton College of Business, where she oversees executive education programs in Little Rock. Previously, she was the founding Manager of Program Design at the Arkansas Academy for Educational Equity, affiliated with the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas. In this position, Ms. Heard’s primary role was leading operational activities for the instructional team within the Academy, ensuring the academic and professional success of K-12 teachers who work in high-need communities across Arkansas. Before joining the Arkansas Academy for Educational Equity in 2019, Ms. Heard dedicated nearly ten years of service to the Family Medicine department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she managed residency and early childhood mental health programs. She enjoys using her program management and interpersonal skills to help stakeholders achieve their goals. Ms. Heard earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics (with distinction) and music from Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in organizational communication from the Reynolds College of Business at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies after completing her Master’s Degree in 2017. Most recently, Ms. Heard earned her Project Management Certification from the University of Arkansas. Ms. Heard is active in various public service projects in the Central Arkansas community, including the Junior League of Little Rock, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Arkansas Urban League Young Professionals, and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys spending time with loved ones during her free time, including her family, friends, and Jagger Garfield – her orange tabby. Ms. Heard loves kickboxing, journaling, reading books on personal development, and listening to music, especially jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and soul.
Janna Knight
Janna Knight is active as a volunteer in our community. Prior to COVID, she volunteered at Rockefeller Elementary school and at Pulaski Heights Elementary school as a reading tutor. She later volunteered at Hall High school as an ESL and reading tutor. She also volunteered for several years at the Wrightsville Prison Women’s unit. She is currently volunteering at the Pulaski County jail with the men in the “Restore Hope” re-entry program. In her professional career, Janna worked as a Development officer at UALR. She belongs to Pulaski Heights Methodist Church and has more recently served on a committee to help an Afghan family get resettled here. She and her husband have three daughters.
Mason Miller
Mason joined Our House in 2014, starting with the Board Internship program coordinated by the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. A proud Little Rock native, Mason graduated from Catholic High School before earning a Finance Degree from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He later earned his MBA from Louisiana State University – Shreveport. In his current role as Corporate Analyst for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel, Mason thrives on using data to tackle difficult problems and create innovative solutions. Away from work, Mason cherishes time spent with his wife, Kelli, and their three children. He’s an outdoor enthusiast, who enjoys fishing and hunting, but finds the greatest joy in the family adventures that come with raising three young kids. Mason describes himself as a “Jack of All Trades,” willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Mason has been a long-time supporter of Our House, serving as a board intern from 2014-2017, board member from 2017-2023–including serving as board treasurer and board president, and now he is a member of the board of OHCIC, the supporting organization that administers Our House’s New Market Tax Credit projects. He has also been a dedicated donor and volunteer and supported Our House in many other ways. Mason is honored to have the opportunity to contribute to an organization that continues to make such a positive impact on the lives of so many in our community.
David Mitchell
David S. Mitchell Jr. is the managing member of Rose Law Firm and is the youngest managing member in the firm’s 205-year history. David is a corporate and commercial litigator representing a wide variety of public and private businesses in Arkansas and across the country. David also frequently represents clients before state administrative agencies, including the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy, the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission, and the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission. David is a Little Rock native, and he graduated from Little Rock Central High School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Washington and Lee University and his JD from the University of Arkansas School of Law. David and his family have been active supporters of Our House since 2015 and have also been involved in Our House events like Home for the Holidays and Dinner on the Grounds. He and his wife, Frances, have two daughters.
Carla Morris
Carla Morris is a Division Manager at Arkansas Division of Workforce Services for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program where she provides oversight to the Program and Logistical Administration Section of the TANF Department. She is a Staff Pastor at Second Baptist Church for the Discipleship Department where she provides leadership to the Christian Education, Intercessory Prayer, New Members Orientation, Financial Freedom, Ministers in Training, Leaders in Training, Teachers in Training, and the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership ministries. In addition, she is a Board Member of City Church Network and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Carla is a strategic, transformational visionary business leader who operates with a pastoral heart who has the ability to see the big picture, fill in gaps between the need for new possibility and the need for practicality by providing a prescriptive set of habits to initiate change in organizations, groups, others, and herself through her keen ability to teach, supervise and motivate others through change management. She is always evolving and committed to the growth of others, her community and State, and herself. As a result of her humble commitment to growth and development within her Church, Community, and State, she is passionate about seeing the dreams and visions of all become a reality by modeling the way.
Jessica Schueck
Jessica is a caretaker, in that she takes care of family, friends, and even strangers in need in our community. She’s been full-time mom and was caretaker for her late grandparents, but she’s still made time to help others in the community through her work with a number of charitable organizations. She has co-chaired the Easterseals Fashion event, helping to enable children and adults with disabilities reach their full potential and empower them to live, learn, work and play in their communities. She and her husband Patrick Schueck recently chaired Dinner on the Grounds, a fundraiser for Our House, whose mission is empowering homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to acquire jobs, find housing, gain new skills, coordinate healthcare, and create a stable environment for themselves and their families. Jessica is mom to her son Whitten and Bonus Mom to Mason, Ava and Hayden. Jessica loves the outdoors and taking their kids on eye-opening adventures whenever they can.
Stephanie Stewart
Stephanie Stewart has been a stay at home mom for the past five years and also a caretaker for her dad. She previously had a twenty-year career at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital working as a Senior Systems Analyst in the Budget and Information Technology departments. Stephanie is originally from Pine Bluff. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1994. She is a member of Pulaski Heights Methodist church and has served in leadership roles over the years. Stephanie and her husband Todd annually support Our House through event sponsorships as well as monthly donations. Stephanie got involved in working at the Our House Resale store two years ago and has been a dedicated volunteer ever since.
Magen Tune
Magen Tune serves as the Local Market Organization’s Market Executive for the state of Arkansas. In this role, she is responsible for business integration, strategic planning, coordination and leveraging of the bank’s local philanthropic contributions, managing events and sponsorships facilitating relationships with the community and opinion leaders. Magen has been with the bank for 13 years and, prior to her current role, she served as the Sales Support Associate in Business Banking for Little Rock, AR. Magen spent the first eight years of her career in Consumer Banking, where she held multiple positions in the financial center as well as an administration role supporting the Consumer Market team. Before joining the bank, Magen worked at a local bank while attending college. Magen received her undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Central Arkansas and her Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Active in the community, she has taken a leadership role working closely with nonprofit organizations in Arkansas, assisting with planning and organizing bank volunteer days to meet the needs of these critical organizations. She is an active member of the Arkansas Leadership Team, Bank of America Women’s Leadership Council, and the local Power of 10 Women’s chapter. She currently is serving her fourth year as a Board member with Junior Achievement of Arkansas.
Millie Ward
President and Co-Founder of Stone Ward in Little Rock, AR. Millie is leading in a league of her own when it comes to doing whatever it takes on any given day to keep Stone Ward and its clients moving forward together as a creative force for good. In 2015, named Sam M. Walton Arkansas Business Hall of Fame for her recognition as a business influencer ,leader, and speaker. Millie and her co-founder Larry Stone have built their business from a $2 million business in 1984 to a $50 million-plus full-service, fiercely independent agency today. Along the way, she and Larry both have been inducted into the Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame. She has had the honor of working with hundreds of local, national, and international clients, from financial to global non-profits, and has remained close friends with many, proof that her client-agency relationships go beyond business. Millie is driven by a sense of optimism, gratitude (and her daily eight-ounce Red Bull), Millie has worked with an abundance of highly successful business and community leaders across the country who have collectively inspired and informed her own approach to leadership. Over the years, Millie has been named Rotary Business and Professional Leader of the Year, SMEA Top Manager of the Year, Woman of the Year, and Top 100 Women in Business. A classically trained copywriter, Millie’s passion for simple persuasive communication has propelled her ability to contribute to the success and profit of companies and brands in almost every industry, shaping challenger brands into leaders and non-profits into life-changing forces. Today she sits on the board of the Little Rock Federal Reserve Bank, The Venture Center, Bridge2Rwanda, Baptist Health Foundation, and the Arkansas Executive Forum. Her competitive spirit in tow, she still finds time to cheer on her granddaughter at softball and basketball games with the same passion and enthusiasm she brings to work every day.
