Lauren and her daughter Rylee came to Our House two years ago after Lauren graduated from a treatment program. During their time at Our House, Lauren and Rylee exemplified community and resilience, through their engagement with Little Learners, Positively Parenting classes, recovery support classes, and the Career Center’s Reentry program. Lauren worked diligently in our Job Training program, and after graduating she secured meaningful employment in the community. After transitioning to the Family House and building up her savings, Lauren and Rylee are moving into their own place! Like many families who are exiting the Shelter, Lauren has chosen to continue receiving case management support over the next 12 months, working with her CAFSI case manager to focus on financial, employment, and housing stability.
