Mic Michael Turner started his work-based training program at the Our House Resale Stores that was funded recently by the state of Arkansas Department of Workforce Services in August 2018. He completed his 9-month training program May 9, 2019. He took initiative in every task he was assigned, and exceeded expectations. Michael showed the greatest respect toward donors and customers. He interacted extremely well with co-workers, and was always available to coach and mentor them. Since completing the job training program, Michael has moved out of homelessness, and now has a place of his own to call home. He also is engaged in full-time unsubsidized employment with a central Arkansas employer. During his tenure at the Resale Store, he developed strong customer service and leadership skills, and his presence is greatly missed.
