LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A central Arkansas nonprofit is now able to increase its work with the homeless thanks to $1 million dollars’ worth of renovations.
There was a big crowd on hand today as officials cut the ribbon at the new career center at “Our House” in Little Rock.
The renovations will allow the organization to serve four times as many people with 120 adults receiving different types of training at the same time.
People who gathered for the event heard several stories from Our House clients who have improved their lives through the programs.
In 2015, the career center helped nearly 500 adults find full time jobs in central Arkansas.
