LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — People who live on the streets or face being homeless now have a place to look for work.
Our House opened its newly renovated Career Center on Wednesday.
The center provides job training, job search help, financial literacy courses, and life skills training for more than 600 adults each year.
“We will work with people to not only get a job but to be successful in the job to move up,” said Georgia Mjartan, Executive Director of Our House.
“I have family here [that] hit a little bit of a snag in California and as a result because of lack of education wasn’t able to get back into the field I’m good at, which is sales,” said Brian Ault, a client of the Career Center. THV11 reported that with the center’s help, Ault was able to get his GED.
The Career Center is located on the Our House Campus on East Roosevelt Road in Little Rock.
