Our House shelter staff member Jessica Key hangs resident children’s artwork inside their cramped 7000 square foot, former ambulance garage on their campus on E. Roosevelt Road in Little Rock Thursday morning. Our House hopes by April to raise the last $1.14 million needed to build a new 18, 500-square-foot Our House Children’s Center to replace the old facility. Part of the money already raised for the $3.8 million project includes a $665,000 challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation which will only be given if Our House can raise the last $1.14 million by April 10.
