LITTLE ROCK, AR — A Local organization — that serves the working homeless — opened a brand new children’s facility today.
Our House celebrated the grand opening of its new 5.5 million dollar Children’s Center at 302 E. Roosevelt Road in Little Rock.
The dedication took place during the annual summer carnival — sponsored by Morgan Stanley.
All donors and supporters were invited to the event. The families that participate in the organization’s Children’s programs also took part in the dedication of the new building.
Parents could enroll their children in the summer program as well.
The Children’s Center will provide a safe and enriching atmosphere for 150 homeless or near-homeless kids ages 0-17 every day.
That’s triple the number of children that could be accommodated in the past.
Our House also helps working, homeless adults and children with housing, job training, and education.
