Our House Receives $10,000 Donation from Southern Legacy of Life to SupportLocal Families in Need This Holiday Season

Little Rock, Ark. – Southern Legacy of Life (formerly ARORA) has awarded a $10,000 donation to Our House of Little Rock, reinforcing its commitment to restoring lives and strengthening communities this holiday season. This gift will help Our House advance its mission of empowering homeless and near-homeless individuals and families with the tools they need to achieve stability and independence.

“The holidays should be a time of joy, not uncertainty. We believe in investing in organizations that share our vision of hope and transformation,” said Steve Percival, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Southern Legacy of Life. “Our House exemplifies that mission by offering housing, job training, and support services that restore dignity and opportunity.”

Southern Legacy of Life leadership recognized the importance of supporting nonprofit organizations with similar missions ahead of the holiday season. This type of nonprofit-to-nonprofit giving is uncommon, but SLL believes collaboration amplifies impact. Our House was selected because its mission closely aligns with Southern Legacy of Life’s commitment to restoring lives and creating pathways to hope and stability.

“Our House provides critical resources that change lives every day,” said Mark Tudor, CEO of Southern Legacy of Life. “During the holidays, the need for hope and support is even greater. This partnership reflects our core values – accountability, innovation, and maximizing every gift –to ensure that families in crisis have a path forward.”

Our House serves more than 3,000 individuals annually through programs that include shelter, workforce development, and family support services. The organization’s goal is to break the cycle of homelessness by equipping families with long-term solutions.
