The Our House Children’s Center was named regional winner of the Phoenix Award for excellence in Brownfield Redevelopment. The award was presented at the national Brownfields Conference in Chicago on September 3, 2015. Our House partnered with the Pulaski County Brownfields Program and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality to remediate environmental issues associated with the former boiler plant for the old VA hospital in Little Rock. Our House’s new Children’s Center was built on the redeveloped 1.4-acre site.
