Calvin is just one of our many clients who have received assistance through our Resource Hotline with Financial Navigators and the City of Little Rock! Calvin was having trouble finding a job last year, so he called our hotline to get connected to work! Calvin set up an appointment with our Career Center, where he came in to look for and apply to jobs in our Employment Hub. Our Employment Coaches helped Calvin navigate his job search and got him connected to his current job at ABM. While Calvin was looking for work, the Career Center also connected him to emergency rental payments. This assistance helped stabilize Calvin’s finances and get him to a place where he could start paying his own rent. In his time since joining ABM in October, Calvin has already received a valuable pay raise, and he enjoys excellent working hours! Calvin plans to utilize the budgeting classes we offer to continue on a good financial path, and he has ambitions to move into the computer science field!
