Little Rock loves a good bash, and this al fresco evening is a citywide springtime favorite.
Dinner on the Grounds returns on Friday, May 20, to the Heifer Village pavilion, back for the first time since 2019 to raise funds for Our House.
Guests are invited for an evening of fine Southern dining, complete with treats from Sweet Lavender Bakes and Loblolly Creamery, plus springtime libations. The family-friendly event also includes lawn games and, as is tradition for Dinner on the Grounds, the soulful musical stylings of Lagniappe.
Now in its 17th year, the nonprofit’s signature fundraiser supports Our House’s work empowering homeless and near-homeless people in central Arkansas. Its comprehensive program offers shelter, transitional housing, childcare, after-school programs, adult education, workforce training, meals and counseling, as well as other services.
