LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Every September since 1967, the world has celebrated International Literacy Day. Here in our state, it will be observed this Friday, September 7.
The Alex Foundation and Arkansas Reading Association have collected thousands of books and they, along with the state’s first lady Ginger Beebe, will be donating the books to Our House.
Books will also be donated at several other locations.
