LITTLE ROCK, AR — Our House in Little Rock reached out to those in need of better healthcare Saturday afternoon.
The organization hosted its Fourth Annual Health and Wellness Day.
Everything from various health screenings to haircuts were offered.
Organizers say the event started after seeing people in need for better healthcare access.
“We want our residents to feel empowered. Our main thing within our mission is to empower our residents to take better control of their life, their lifestyle, and to be healthy,” said Michelle Barnes of Our House.
Our House provides numerous services to the homeless community including housing, education and job training.
